The required ingredients are:
- 2 spoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ red onion
- 1 serrano chili
- 6 pieces of corn
- c/s salt
- c/s epazote
- 5 cups of chicken broth
- with panela cheese
- with cream
Follow these simple steps:
Place the butter in a pan with the oil and when it’s very hot, add the onion and chilli.
Once seasoned, add the previously shelled corn and salt to taste.
Add the epazote and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Pour over chicken broth, cover and bring to a simmer.
Serve the soup with your favorite dishes and garnish with cheese and cream.
